@Mike_Giesen no loss of data; it’s extremely common to redirect stdout and stderr to the same file, especially in cron (scheduled jobs)

@Mike_Giesen FWIW, I agree, “true”; however, such a cmd may not necessarily run the same, especially if the environment/permissions is diff
