@jimpish @beerluver and since it can’t just update the files itself, it tries to do so via ftp, which is a good idea, but not for mine

@jimpish @beerluver I think mine is the way it is because my file/folder permissions are more restrictive than normal

@BeerLuver exactly; I think wp’s auto upgrade is one minor step away from working for me; until then, I do it manually; still simple though
